Following an official visit to Boise State, Kaaya will sign with Miami.
West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade quarterback Brad Kaaya committed to Miami in May. Since that time he has opened things up a bit and entertained a few other programs including USC, UCLA and Boise State.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound prep is one of the elite arms in the nation, he checks in as the No. 94 overall player, per 247Sports. He is ranked as the No. 7 pro-style quarterback in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite.
After a trip to Boise State and continued speculation, Kaaya ended things Thursday morning.
"I've informed them (Boise State) I plan to stick with Miami," Kaaya said via text. "Miami has always been the best possible place for me to develop athletically and accomplish what I want academically."
The four-star confirmed that ends any doubt with him and is done with the recruiting process. He will be able to sign with the Canes on Wednesday.
Boise State landed a scholarship quarterback last night in Alex Ogle. They also have Tommy Stuart coming into the program as a preferred walk-on.
